Jim Shore gives back

Jim Shore and Enesco recently announced that together they have raised over $70,000 with a goal of $100,000 for the National Association of Military Families (NMFA). The NMFA provides resources to the spouses and children of service personnel in all branches of the military. To learn more about NMFA and to see how you can get involved visit their website at www.nmfa.org. Remember it is not to late to help Jim Shore help the NMFA in their efforts in support of America’s service men and women. The “Angel of the Military” Heartwood Creek figurine is still available on Jim’s site. All of the proceeds in the sale of the “Angel of the Military” figurine will be donated to this worthy cause.

In February 2009, Artistic Checks launched its new product suite, “ Jim Shore’s Angels,” through its Masterpiece Collection. The personal checks and address labels feature four rotating designs of angels, which represent the four seasons, against peaceful, country towns. The paintings are infused with folk-art colors and patterns that give them a very country décor look. The product suite also offers a personal contact card and printed canvas checkbook cover also featuring Jim Shore’s angel artwork.
